BPMS Immunization rates 2014-2015
In 2012 the Vermont Legislature passed a requirement that all schools must make immunization rates for the student body available to the public. You can compare BPMS's immunization rates with the state's. A complete list of Vermont school immunization rates can be found at: http://healthvermont.gov/hc/imm/ImmSurv.aspx
Cold Season has Arrived!
Let's keep our school healthy
Please do not send your child to school if:
~ Fever greater than 100. They may return to school when they have been fever free without fever reducing medicine for 24 hours.
~ They have thrown up or had diarrhea in the past 24 hours.
~ They have excessive amounts of mucous.
*** The greatest defense we have against cold and flu is hand washing - 20 seconds with soap and water!
Happy New Year!!
Here is to another great year at Brewster Pierce! I am happy to be back as the school Nurse. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns regarding your child's health. My direct line is: 434-7354. My hours this year are:
The Cold and Flu Season is Upon Us!
Q: What can you catch but not throw?
A: A cold!
Just a reminder…the cold and flu seasons are upon us. Please be vigilant about hand washing and coughing and sneezing into your “chicken wing.” Parents, when you come to school, please use the hand sanitizer on the check in desk. Children with a fever greater than 100 must be out of school for 24 hours without taking a fever reducing medication.
